Air Max 97 "Picante Red"

The Nike Air Max 97 "Picante Red" is a stiking black-and-red colorway of the retro sneaker. Created by Nike footwear designer Christian Tresser in 1997, the Air Max 97 is one of the very best Air Max models in the collection’s history. Here the shoe features a black mesh base with tonal leather overlays that wrap around the shoe. A fiery Picante Red panel contrasts the otherwise black and dark grey color scheme. A small red Swoosh appears on either side above the black foam midsole. “Air Max” detailing is printed on the heel tab. A full-length Max Air cushioning unit in the midsole completes the design.
